Each staff member goes through a comprehensive background check and is held to the highest code of conduct standards.

Dr. David Lovely, Clinical Director

Dr. Lovely leads the Summit’s View team, drawing from his comprehensive background in counseling, pastoral leadership and the trades. Dr. Lovely is directly involved in Summit’s View’s daily routines and activities. Each young man has direct access to Dr. Lovely at nearly any moment of the day.

Terri Lovely, Program Director

Terri’s background spans a powerful range of professions and experiences – a perfect fit for the demanding role of Summit’s View program director. As the programming director, she plans and oversees the day-to-day activities of our young men, including special outings and spontaneous adventures.

Eric Lovely, Family Relations Director & Life Coach

Eric comes to the Summit’s View with a novel background in pastoral leadership, business operations and project management. His unique mix of shepherding compassion and business grit make him a perfect match for helping families navigate the emotional and logistical waters of their son’s transformation.

  • Built and lead a successful contracting/fabrication company spanning over 3 states
  • Oversaw multiple construction teams and provided hands-on training for young or inexperienced employees

Kassie Lovely, Operations & Outreach Director

Kassie brings her battle-tested experience in managing the complex operations of a thriving company and leadership in a growing church plant to the Summit’s View team as our Operations and Outreach Director. She’s the one who keeps our camp, its young men and our service projects running like a well-oiled machine.

Jazmine Yuhas, Educator

Many of our young men come to Summit’s View performing behind or below their academic potential. Jazmine combines high expectations with one-on-one attention to help young men rise to scholastic greatness.

John Pickering, House Parent & Life Coach

With over 30 years experience, John is no stranger to student ministry. His skills span from leading and developing youth ministries to managing departments of a fortune 500 company. John fosters an environment for both spiritual and emotional growth in our students and their families alike.

Tracey Tomlinson, Administrative Assistant

Each of the young men who come to Summit’s View bring their own set of unique administrative requirements, all of them important. Tracey specializes in keeping every “i” dotted and “t” crossed to ensure every son gets the comprehensive care he needs. But more than that, she is guaranteed to always have a few students in her office who are soaking up her wisdom and encouragement!

Eddie Tomlinson, Facilities & Vocational Director

Trade work is one of the important skills students learn while at Summits View, and there is no better teacher this side of the Mississippi than Eddie. With over 32 years in mechanical and electrical experience, Eddie uses his knowledge to equip students with practical, lifelong skills, preparing them for a successful future. He starts each day by praying with his 'crew' and works to keep our grounds and facilities looking great and functioning properly!

  • Trained in Robotics, CNC operation and supervised maintenance crews
  • Owns and operates a local business - Ed's Garage

Tom Humphrey, Summer Program Director & Life Coach

You can find Tom in the middle of every great adventure we have at Summits View. With over 12 years of Scout leader experience, Tom keeps our boys in shape both physically and mentally. He is a husband and father of his own teenage son, so connecting with student's is second nature to him. Tom enjoys being outdoors and pushing himself and others to do things that exceed their normal capabilities.

Linda, or as our boys call her, Grandma, helps keep our special occasions special! She retired from thyssenkrupp after 40 years and is a loving Mom and Grandma. From birthday cakes to Holiday's, Linda makes each student and staff feel special and valued by proving homemade cakes, treats and sound advice!

Randy Kirchmeier, Financial Advisor

Randy volunteers as our Financial Advisor. His vital role ensures that the Summit’s View team has the liberty to give every son the specialized care he needs, even when extra, unplanned expenses are involved. By keeping us operating cost-efficiently, he helps us make room for the unique approach each young man may require.

Shawnda Kirchmeier, Intake Coordinator

Shawnda volunteers as our Intake Coordinator. She joined the Summit’s View team after experiencing, first hand, the difference our team can make in the life of a troubled teen – hers. She knows what it’s like to be in the shoes of a family struggling with a troubled son. And she combines her experience and administrative background to help families walk through an unfamiliar but very important season.

  • Currently studying Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Women’s Issues, Marriage and Family and Life Coaching
